Villa in Positano

Villa Trara è un appartamento di lusso, con una vista spettacolare, parte di un’antica villa nel centro di Positano.
La casa offre tutti i comfort, privacy e tranquillità.
Dalla terrazza panoramica si può ammirare la baia di Fornillo con la torre saracena di Clavel e le isole Li Galli. I tre isolotti, Syrenusse per gli antichi, sono il mitico luogo in cui le sirene cercarono di ammaliare Ulisse con il loro canto. Le isole de Li Galli sono appartenute al coreografo Leonide Massine e al ballerino Rudolf Nureyev.
L’appartamento è su due livelli.
Il piano superiore ha ha accesso esclusivo alla terrazza panoramica arredata con mobili da esterno, panche di maiolica con cuscini, un grande tavolo da pranzo con sedie sotto un gazebo coperto di glicine e un tavolo basso per l’aperitivo al tramonto.
Sempre al piano superiore si trova una cucina completamente attrezzata (lavastoviglie, forno, frigo con congelatore, stoviglie), un soggiorno con divani, poltrone, la zona pranzo con camino, e una camera matrimoniale con bagno con doccia.
Al piano inferiore c’è la camera da letto matrimoniale con due finestre panoramiche, un bagno rivestito di maioliche antiche con vasca/doccia extralarge e una cabina armadio.
Al piano inferiore c’è anche una camera da letto senza finestre (solo aria condizionata) con letto matrimoniale a scomparsa e bagno con doccia privato.
La casa dispone di aria condizionata ovunque (raffreddamento e riscaldamento), Wi-Fi, biancheria da letto e da bagno.
La villa si trova a pochi passi dalla strada principale e nelle vicinanze ci sono ristoranti, edicola, mini-market, farmacia, parrucchiere, barbiere e una fermata dell’autobus per il bus navetta.
Le spiagge sono raggiungibili a piedi, sia dalla strada principale o giù per la famosa “scalinatella” che conduce in pochi minuti al porto e alla spiaggia principale.

Piera’s place is perfect for our stay in Positano

Piera’s place is perfect for our stay in Positano. Clean, extremely spacious, not to mention the absolutely breathtaking views from the huge veranda and bedroom. Sunny and breezy during the day, and well-lit at night… Every room also comes with its own AC so it’s perfect during the summer. You have to climb up some stairs to get from her place to the main road, but for Positano’s standard it’s a lot fewer steps than most. It is also very close to many good restaurants and shops, and a short walk to the center of Positano (main beach). Piera was a very friendly and helpful host who went out of her way to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Even though she doesn’t speak English, she made sure her friend who does was there to explain the workings of the apartment for us. She was also quick to respond, and overall communication with her was great. Thank you, Piera, for your warm hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay at your place! We highly recommend Piera and her place in Positano, and will definitely return to stay here if we visit again in the future.

We can’t wait to come back one day

We stayed at Pieras’s home for two weeks in June + July. It was even more beautiful in person than it was in pictures. I literally couldn’t believe the view out every window and from the expansive terrace. I had to pinch myself a couple of times. We were met by Piera’s helpful nephew who was able to help us with our luggage and give us a tour of the home as well as answer all of our questions about wi-fi, etc. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs and one bedroom upstairs with ac in every room (you’ll definitely want to have it on over the summer). The home is within a five minute walk to some of the best restaurants in Positano (Da Vincenzo and Next2) and a 10 minute walk to a small market that has everything you’ll need for your stay as well as prepared foods for breakfast and dinner. It’s about 327 steps down to Fornillo beach (the local beach) or a longer walk if you want to avoid the stairs. It was a magical stay and we would highly recommend Piera’s home. We can’t wait to come back one day.

Piera was fantastic. The villa in Positano is amazing

Piera was fantastic. The villa in Positano is amazing. This is one of the rare places where the photos are not as good as reality. The views are so amazing, the terrace balcony is excellent. The location is actually really good, it is close to the main road with 1 and 1/2 flights of stairs so not too bad with luggage for Positano. Really close to some great restaurants. Or just go to the supermarket 250m walk, get your coffee in the morning or do antipasto platters in the evening on the balcony. The place has so much room. Two good double bed, bedrooms. Another with a wall pull down bed which is a double which was fine. Lounge dining and kitchen. Good walk straight down path to Positano maybe 5 min. Hire your own runabout one day, another hire a boat with driver to Capri and back. We really loved this place family of 5, kids 12, 10, and 5 plus Nan. – perfect for 6 people. Positano is beautiful, as is the villa, and Piera was super helpful

Thanks for letting us stay at your amazing apartment Piera. We loved the apartment, it was beautifully decorated and designed. We absolutely loved the location and beach view from the balconies. This was an amazing experience for us and we definitely want to come back to Amalfi Coast because of the beautiful experience we had!!!

Incredible views. Plenty of space

This place has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation. Incredible views. Plenty of space. Nice outdoor areas. Air Conditioning. Close to good restaurants and a market for Cappuccino and croissants. Piera even got me a reservation at the best beach club (DaAdolfo). Don’t hesitate to book here for your stay in Positano!

Our initial thought was Wow!

Our initial thought was Wow! The views are amazing and the home though beautiful is very homely and spacious. It is very close to a supermarket and great restaurants. Maria was available with any questions and is very helpful and friendly. There are 220 stairs down to the beach and of course 220 stairs to climb up also, so brace yourselves. I cannot fault our stay it was incredible and we would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

This was a beautiful place in a perfect location in Positano. Quiet neighborhood at night but bustling during the days and evenings. Breathtaking views and walking distance from the beach, pier and plenty of shopping and dining. The property was lovely and had everything we needed and wanted. Piera is responsive and friendly and we would love to have the chance to visit again someday!

Piera’s Villa is absolutely lovely!

Piera’s Villa is absolutely lovely! The pictures do not do it justice. So elegant. The views are to die for. You could spend your entire vacation on the terrace. It is the perfect home for a family of 4-5 or two couples. Fortuna was so helpful with check in and any other issues/questions we had. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Coffee and aperitivo time was our favorite time of day to spend looking at the expansive views. Piera’s home was comfortable and gorgeous.

Piera’s place is absolutely wonderful

Piera’s place is absolutely wonderful. The terrace is beautiful, comfortable, and even larger than we were expecting from the photos. The views are breathtaking, and the place itself is lovely and quite comfortable. Piera was very responsive and helpful in advance of our trip, helping with transfers and even a dinner reservation, and her friend Signoria Fortuna was wonderful about meeting us at the beginning and end of our stay, despite the fact that we were delayed on our way in. All in all, a fantastic experience at a fantastic place!
